Vicki Goodfellow Duke
Director, Coach
Vicki Goodfellow Duke is Director of Outspoken Communications. She has extensive experience in both corporate training and personal coaching. Her expertise is in persuasive communications, information management and message design.
Vicki is faculty in the Bissett School of Business and Communications at Mount Royal University teaching Public Speaking, and Rhetoric (1991-present). She taught Speech Arts and Drama for The Mount Royal Conservatory from 1990 until 2011, and was the personal coach of the first place winner in the World Public Speaking Championships, held in Cyprus, Nicosia in 2005. Vicki was a National Examiner for Speech and Drama for The Royal Conservatory of Toronto from 1996 to 2001. Vicki holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, a Licentiate in Speech Communications and a Fellow in Communication Studies (Persuasive Communications) from Trinity-Guildhall, London, UK. She has given workshops and adjudicated across Canada and the US.
Vicki is the recipient of numerous national and international awards for her writing and is the author of two public speaking textbooks: GAB LAB: the playbook of public speaking prowess through everyday conversation and Street-Smart: A Speaker’s Guide to Socratic Design.
